Gopher Deals Does Tampopo!
On Tuesday night I got myself down to Tampopo's restaurant on South Parade in Leeds to try out their 40% Off Mains discount voucher for myself (as well as a couple of other courses!).
Set out on wooden benches with an open kitchen the restaurant takes its influence from East Asia in it's cooking as well as it's atmosphere. You can see the chef's wokking on as they prepare your food.
I had a sharing platter for two to start (see our Facebook page for pictures). This is a fantastic option as it takes in little samples of street food from all over East Asia: Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam etc with little bowls of sauces to dip your coconut prawns and satay chicken in!
For main I had a fiery little number from Vietnam called Ga Xao Xa Ot (pronounce that one!). Lovely flavours, succulent chicken breast and quite sauced based for a stir fry.
For afters I had a Ginger Creme Brulee - not sure how Asian that is but it was blooming tasty all the same!
This place has fantastic food, great service and is really good value without a discount voucher - with 40% off mains until 12th February it's amazing value. So what are you waiting for dig up this deal and try it for yourself!
